Suffolk Flag

My client wanted to update the design of the Suffolk flag to be as historically accurate as possible believing that the current Crown would not be correct. Myself, my client, and Clive Cheesman of the College of Arms believed that St Edmund’s crown would have featured crosses after converting to Christianity, and ultimately dying for his beliefs.

Below is one of the oldest relevant images that Clive could find for reference material as well as the printed flag being flown at Debenham Church for Suffolk Day.

I do love a bit of vexillology!
