Stained Glass Illustration for Brady Brim-DeForest

This stained glass window is designed to feature my client’s Arms and Balvaird Castle in Scotland, from which Brady Brim-DeForest holds the title of Baron. These couché Arms (tilted shield) are inspired by the late-great Scottish heraldic artist, Don Pottinger, possibly my favourite heraldic artist of all time. The windows double border has patterns of the elements from the Arms and I am really pleased with the final result. I hope that one day this design will be made into an actual stained glass window that I can see in situ at Balvaird Castle.
